After their gaudy beginnings as indie rockers, the trio has increasingly delved into the electronic side of groove. This funky sound, these reminiscences of the 80s, are already great. The synths chug or form fine curtains of sound behind which Trimble's voice sets the tone, breathy and blurred. Disco and wave are back and sound better than ever. Nach den knalligen Anfängen als Indie-Rocker hat sich das Trio immer mehr in die elektronische Seite des Grooves eingefühlt. Dieser funky Sound, diese Reminiszenzen an die 80er sind schon famos. Die Synthies pluckern oder bilden feine Klangvorhänge, hinter denen Trimbles Stimme verhaucht und verwischt den Ton angibt. Disco und Wave sind wieder da und hören sich besser an denn je. Denn gleichzeitig arbeiten die drei Freunde mit modernen Beats und legen bei der Produktion großen Wert auf hohe Klangqualität. Alles zusammen ist Synthiepop und Electro-Funk auf allerhöchstem Niveau, der jeden Dancefloor sofort mit schwitzenden Leibern füllt.
