La verrerie de Meisenthal en activité depuis le XVIIIe siècle, a été le berceau de nombreuses collaborations artistiques de renom, comme ce fut le cas entre Émile Gallé, l’un des pionniers de l’Art nouveau et les verriers virtuoses de Meisenthal. C’est en virtuose de la musique que Charlie Winston viendra souffler un air de rock dans cette friche industrielle et ouvrière, une occasion unique de découvrir ce lieu d’exception. L’auteur-compositeur-interprète britannique a sorti son cinquième album As I Am en 2022, dans lequel il pose la question de l’identité et se livre tel qu’il est. À chaque passage de sa tournée actuelle, le multi-instrumentiste est attendu avec ferveur. Et c’est cette même ferveur qui guide année après année, des centaines de visiteurs à découvrir les créations vedettes du site verrier.
