Episode Title: Vivaldi's [Uncertain] Four Seasons - Live From Delos – ARTE Concert Episode Content: 🇫🇷 Depuis l’île grecque de Délos en mer Égée, l’Orchestre des jeunes de l’Union européenne et la violoniste ukrainienne Diana Tishchenko interprètent un classique légèrement revisité : Les Quatre saisons (incertaines) de Vivaldi. Un concert unique en son genre donné pour les 30 ans d’ARTE à l’initiative du Forum mondial des droits de l’homme. Vivaldi a composé ses Quatre Saisons il y a plus de 300 ans, bien avant le réchauffement climatique. Comment cette œuvre résonne-t-elle aujourd’hui ? Le concert, joué par une nuit de nouvelle lune dans le spectaculaire amphithéâtre de Délos, sera projeté sur des écrans géants et retransmis dans plusieurs villes européennes. C'est la première fois qu’un orchestre au complet se produit sur cette île depuis longtemps inhabitée. L’Orchestre des jeunes de l’Union européenne accompagné de la violoniste ukrainienne Diana Tishchenko interprètent les quatre concertos pour violon. Les interludes sont assurées par le joueur de lyre grec Sokratis Sinopoulos. Leur projet musical est un cri de ralliement pour le climat et pour la paix. Ce spectacle en plein air s’inscrit dans le cadre d’un projet international, The (uncertain) Four Seasons, auquel participent une dizaine d’orchestres professionnels du monde entier. Inspiré du classique de Vivaldi, il se déclinera en plusieurs variantes afin d’illustrer les effets du changement climatique en 2050 dans différentes régions de la planète. Mené dans le cadre de la campagne ActNow des Nations Unies, ce projet de protection du climat est également une initiative du Forum mondial des droits de l’homme. Mai 2022 – am 30. Geburtstag von Arte – einen Klassiker (in leicht bearbeiteter Fassung) spielen: Vivaldis (ungewisse) Vier Jahreszeiten. Ein einzigartiges Konzert, das im Rahmen einer weltweiten Kampagne des World Human Forum zur Rettung des Klimas stattfindet. Vivaldi schrieb die Vier Jahreszeiten vor gut 300 Jahren – da war das Klima noch in Ordnung. Doch wie würde das Stück heute klingen? Das Konzert findet bei Neumond am 30. Mai 2022 vor spektakulärer und antiker Kulisse statt und wird in verschiedenen europäischen Städten auf Leinwänden übertragen. Es ist das erste Mal, dass ein ganzes Orchester auf der seit Langem unbewohnten Insel spielt. Das Open-Air-Konzert ist Teil eines weltweiten Projektes: Unter dem Titel The (uncertain) Four Seasons beteiligen sich mehr als ein Dutzend professionelle Orchester in unterschiedlichsten Regionen der Welt daran, Vivaldis Vier Jahreszeiten in regional spezifischen Varianten aufzuführen, die die zu erwartenden klimatischen Veränderungen für das Jahr 2050 kompositorisch einbeziehen. Das Projekt findet im Rahmen der United Nations ActNow Campaign zur Rettung des Klimas statt und ist eine Initiative des World Human Forums. Vivaldis vier Violinkonzerte werden gespielt vom European Union Youth Orchestra zusammen mit Diana Tishchenko (Violine). Intermezzi an der Leier spielt der griechische Musiker Sokratis Sinopoulos. Das Projekt ist ein musikalischer Appell für Klimaschutz und Frieden.
