Born in Brescia (Lombardy) in 1993, she was soon attracted to the German capital, which she eventually moved to. She now hosts “Dancing for Mental Health” parties as well as DJing herself, performing her frenzied psychedelic disco-trance sets. As boss of her own label, Oscillator, she has carved out her own space on the Berlin scene where she regularly performs extended sets at Cocktail d’Amore and the famous Salon Zur Wilden Renate. ________ Liebe geht durch den Magen - und Leidenschaft für Musik wohl auch, wenn es nach der italienischen DJ Budino geht: Nicht umsonst trägt ihr bürgerlicher sowie Künstlername dieselbe Bezeichnung einer süßen, puddingartigen italienischen Speise. Vielleicht war es da fast schon Pflichtprogramm, Budino als Resident für die monatliche Party „Cocktail d’Amore“ in der Berliner Griessmuehle zu engagieren. 1993 im lombardischen Brescia geboren, zog es Valentina Budino, so bürgerlich, in die deutsche Hauptstadt Berlin, in der sie inzwischen gleichermaßen bekannt für ihre Arbeit als Veranstalterin der „Dancing for Mental Health“-Partys sowie als DJ für ihre psychedelisch-perkussiven Disco-Trance-Sets ist.
