The Chickens' Thanksgiving Treat!

The chickens have been through a lot this year, from heatwaves, to smoke, to being evacuated from a fire and living on a different farm for over a week... and riding in the car! Here they are enjoying a Thanksgiving treat - the peels from our apples for our Thanksgiving apple pie. we don't give them the cores unless the seeds have been taken out because the seeds contain arsenic.
