K.M. Rice | Caterpillar in the Gloaming

K.M. Rice is a writer talking about her works and how to make a good story of your own.
Episode Title: Caterpillar in the Gloaming Episode Content: This caterpillar had accidentally gotten stuck in the string of a silkworm and was dangling helplessly. I placed it on this fern and observed it for a while, amidst the failing light, wondering how so small a creature can orient itself and navigate with its limited vision and antennae. Does it know that one day, if all goes well, it will fly? The Western Tussock Moth is often found on the Pacific coast and will one day metamorphose into a dark brown moth with an oak-bark-like pattern on its wings.
